Samsung Galaxy S20 Line Review

Overview

These three phones are similar models of different sizes. Their overall design is uniform, with the body being made of metalcore and glass front and back, sporting a punch-hole camera in the display and reduced bezels. They have an Infinity-O display that has curved edges. The display is 120 Hz, but their screen sizes are different. The display has an optimal resolution of 1080p as opposed to the superior 1440p resolution at 60 Hz.

How Are They Different?

Dimensions


The phones have different dimensions as follows:

• Galaxy S20 Ultra: 166.9 x 76 x 8.8mm


The ultra is the largest one of the three, with the S20 being the smallest. The overall build and quality of the phones are similar with the size difference offering customers a range of sizes to pick from. However, they are larger than previous models but with smaller bezels.


Display


Looking at the dimensions, it is evident that the displays are different, with the S20 being the smallest and the S20 ultra being the one with the largest screen. They have a 6.2, 6.7 inch, and 6.9-inch displays respectively. They are meant to give you a choice between a big, small, and middle-level phone when choosing between the three. The screens are AMOLED and offer a 120 Hz refresh rate at Full HD.


Battery Capacity


The Galaxy S20 has a 4000mAh battery, the S20+ 4500mAh, and the S20 ultra a 5000mAh cell. This directly implies that the smaller phones have batteries with lower power capacity and the larger ones a bigger one. You will get longer battery life with the larger phone even if it has a larger display to power. This is coupled with a 48-megapixel telephoto, which is simply a ten times hybrid periscope lens. That set gives you an impressive 100x zoom, which is a bit overrated since photos taken at this zoom level cannot look great.


Prices


How much do you have to part with if you wish to buy any of these models? The prices of these handsets vary significantly as expected due to the disparity in screen sizes as the core hardware capabilities are more or less the same. The S20 ultra has a hefty price tag, and the S20 + might be the one with a more favorable price tag for many, looking at the performance and features it has to offer. Some of the features distinguishing the Samsung GalaxyS20, S20+, and S20 ultra have been highlighted, and it has been seen that they are not all that different.
